PPE Optimization Guidance
Employees should wear appropriate PPE when conducting on-site work.
Due to the worldwide supply chain issues, N95 respirators (for those departments issued these) should be practicing reuse procedures. Your department should also have a procedure/policy on when an N95 respirator is used versus a surgical/procedure mask.
Crisis Capacity Strategy:
- Please see OSH video on proper use. For additional questions, please call (520) 562-6574.
- If your Department does not have the required PPE, please contact Office of Emergency Management for supply needs at OEM2@gric.nsn.us
- PPE should be disposed in a proper hazardous container. Please contact Facilities Maintenance for hazardous disposable information (520) 562-3585 ext. 3587 or (520) 610-1139.
